Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the benefits of a regular facial?

Monthly facials keep pores cleaned, facilitate cell turnover to stimulate collagen production for firmer skin, reduce breakouts, prevent advanced aging, promote self-care, and relaxation.

  • How do I know what service is best for my skin?

This is where you let your professional decide! Just choose a signature facial and your Esthetician will do what is best for your individual needs!

  • Why get a peel?

Everyone is a candidate for a peel! We custom blend them to suit your skin type and provide brightening, pore tightening, and firming. Peel levels will change with the seasons, and YES there are summer friendly peels!

  • What is to expect after Peel/radio frequency/microneedling?

Peels: Summer friendly and lighter peels should result only in glowy skin with no peeling afterward. Your deeper peels will come with an aftercare kit to reduce the peeling and dryness you will experience for a few days post-peel.

Radio Frequency: There is NO downtime with this procedure! You may leave the treatment a little rosy due to the heat, but can resume your normal routine that evening and the days following.

Microneedling: You will experience small red dots for several days post-treatment, however, you can resume wearing makeup to cover up the very next day. Severity depends on the depth of needle, for example, if we are treating acne scars, you will receive a longer depth needle to soften the scarring.

  • How long should I wait after botox and filler to receive a treatment?

Facial or peel: Wait several days as not to move any injectables around.

Radio Frequency: Filler needs to be minimum 4 weeks post-injection

  • How do I prepare for my treatment?

Any Facial Treatment: Wear little to no makeup if possible. Do not use retinol or AHA products for several days prior (3-4). Disclose retinol, AHA, prescription medication use, skin sensitivities and allergies.

Lashes: Have clean lashes with NO eye makeup.

Waxing: Body hair needs to be a quarter of an inch long to wax, roughly two weeks of hair growth.

Spray Tan: Have clean, exfoliated skin with no lotion on.
