The Skin LAB does not offer a One-Size-Fits-All Facial.  We customize every treatment to suit the individual needs of our clients which can change from visit to visit and season to season.  We understand that environment, lifestyle, up-coming events, hormones, and even your mood can effect how each appointment will unfold.  We may get down to business with a custom blended peel, or unwind your day with a relaxing Spa Facial with massage.  Either way, our aestheticians specialize in all ways to properly and effectively treat your skin for the best results possible.  Our two most popular facial treatments are:

 

THE DERMAPLANE FACIAL

Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation of the surface skin using a surgical blade with the added benefit of removing unwanted and pesky facial hair.  This is a great way to prep the skin for further exfoliation and infusion of nutrients.

THE SIGNATURE SPA FACIAL

This facial is completely customized and includes relaxing massage of the arms/hands, neck/shoulders, scalp, and face.  It’s the ultimate ‘two-fer’ of results and relaxation.  A dermaplane can also be added.

BOTH facials can include the following:

Enzyme Exfoliation     Enzymes breakdown and dissolve dead skin cells to promote cell turnover.  They have many different additional properties such as brightening, acne control, and softening.  Enzymes are appropriate for ALL skin types.

Acid Exfoliation      These are light to medium depth peels to promote cell turnover.  While providing similar benefits of enzymes, peels generally pack a bigger punch in the exfoliation category.  They also brighten, promote collagen production for lifting and firming, shrink pores, control acne, lighten hyperpigmentation, and even skin tone.

Oxygenation      Oxygenation stimulates and detoxifies while boosting the effectiveness of the entire facial.  It will also leave you with the most fabulous glow!  This can be added with an oxygenating mist, seltzer, or trio during your facial.

CO2 Lift      Carbon dioxide oxygenates to improve skin’s elasticity, brighten, decrease pore size, and reduce puffiness and dark circles while infusing massive amounts of hydration.  It also increases healing after procedures such as microneedling and deeper chemical peels.

Masks     Soooooooo many masks OH MY!   Hydrating, VitC, Firming, Brightening, Calming, HydraJelly, Detoxing, Clarifying…..the list goes on.  We have literally dozens of masks to remedy every skin condition. 

L.E.D. Light Therapy    

·         Red light for collagenesis, reduced inflammation, accelerated healing

·         Blue light for antibacterial acne fighting

·         Green light for desensitizing

 

High Frequency      Neon and Argon current can stimulate collagen production, improve blood circulation for oxygenating, reduce acne and production of bacteria, enhance product absorption, and reduce puffiness.

 

Infusion Serums     High quality growth factors, peptides, oxygen, VitC, tyrosinase inhibitors, and hyaluronic acid electrolytes promote collagen production, brighten, and restore barrier function.

peels

Like our facials, The SkinLAB does not offer a one-size-fits-all peel. EVERYONE is a candidate for a peel!   Peels remove the outer layer of dead skin to reveal fresher, brighter skin. Myth De-Bunked….Not all peels make you peel, cause redness and swelling, or require downtime.  In fact, most SkinLAB peels result in little to zero peeling or redness, and instead just leave you with healthy, improved, glowy skin.  However, some of our deeper peels will result in some peeling which will be controlled with the post-peel-kit that we provide with your service.  While some of our peels are removed in the treatment room, others will be worn home and slept in.  The benefits of peels include:

Our Peels may include:  TCA, Lactic, Salicylic, Glycolic, Jessners, Mandelic, Azelaic, Pyruvic, Retinoic.  Solutions may be blended together or stand alone.  Treatment will include oxygenation first, and a custom blend of treatment serums to enhance the properties and effectiveness of the peel.
